General Motors And Chrysler

Anyone watching the news or looking to buy a car can’t avoid all the recent news on two of the largest car companies going bankrupt.  Regardless of what you think about the bankruptcies or them shedding dealerships, you now have the opportunity to cash in on the current financial mess and get a car at a rock bottom price.

With the current economic problems and with General Motors (GM) and Chrysler going bankrupt, there are many car manufacturers that are offering warranty and incentive program packages that may seem better than they really are.

Some of these warranty and incentive programs seem like a great deal but upon review are not all that great.  One program from GM is the “Total Confidence” package that came out several months before their bankruptcy filing that pertains to only certain vehicles.  The GM web site states that the package has four protections including product protection, family protection, vehicle value protection, and payment protection.
